II. Definitions
Definition of terms as used in the context of this
document:

"Training Committee" means the Classified
Staff Training Committee.

"The College" means Highline Community
College.

"WPEA" means the Highline Community College
chapter of the Washing ton Public Employees Association.

"Supervisor" means the employee's supervisor
responsible for departmental planning and scheduling.
-
"Classified Employee" means a permanent
regular employee in the classified service as defined in the
DOP/Higher Ed Division who are regularly scheduled to work
twenty (20) hours or more per week.

"Probationary Employee" means a classified
employee in the first six months of their appointment to the
current job class.
-
"Training Officer" means the Executive
Director of Human Resources as designated by the College
President.
